Born in 1983, George Morales didn’t always plan on a career in construction—he once dreamed of becoming a firefighter. But spending time on job sites with his father, a construction worker, changed everything. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion.
George began working in the field during high school and later earned a certificate in painting and decorating from Cerritos College. After joining the union in 2010, he sharpened his skills through rigorous safety and technical training. His experience grew through public contracting work, including projects for LAUSD, where he developed a strong understanding of both fieldwork and estimating.
Today, as a Project Manager at Hades Construction, George helps bring projects to life—from ARCO AM/PM developments in Acton to Smashburger locations in West Hollywood. Combining hands-on experience with leadership and precision, he takes pride in delivering quality work while staying connected to the craft that first inspired him.
