SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITIES
“Lots of companies make contributions to organizations and charities, and we do too.”
We also get involved with these organizations and charities. We strive to become an integral part of the neighborhoods in which we live, work, and play. There are many ways we do this, from donating to local causes and participating in charity events, to cleaning up our shared recreational spaces and helping build and renovate homes for those who need it most.
It is our strong belief that we all, are able to extend our hands in some way, whether that means donating money or volunteering our time. Join us in giving back to our communities and creating a world that cares.
WEBELOS SCOUT LECTURE
Hades Construction provided a seminar to (10) Webelos Scouts, currently in 5th grade, together with their Den Leader Yumi Ashida and Jenny Taylor. Not only the scout, but also their parents, learned the process and development of commercial and residential construction – from Pre-Construction to Post-Construction.
This outreach is truly enjoyable and fun. We’re able to impart them our professional knowledge in this industry. Having to share with these kids the experiences in a profession we have chosen and make them interested to learn more about it is an achievement to us. Who knows, one of these kids, if not all of them, could be our future leader someday.
SCHOOL BRIGADE
With our aim to help our community, we thought, why not extend our reach to help communities overseas?
Philippines Department of Education (DepEd) has an annual school maintenance activity called “Brigada Eskwela (School Brigade) with the theme “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan.” (Strong Town for the Advancement of School.” It aims to bring together all education stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort, and resources to prepare public school facilities for the opening of the school year in June 2019.
Clean classrooms, well-maintained learning tools, and complete school supplies inspire students to go to school, study hard and persevere to reach their dreams.
Hades Construction granted the 2nd grade class at Heritage Homes Elementary School a printer to use in the classroom. This will help the students with their homeworks and class/school activities.
