A Gates Millennium Scholar, Luis had been involved in volunteer works before he graduated in 2018 at the University of Southern California. In July of 2017, he mentored at NOMA Summer Camp where he, also perform duties as VP in Finance. He taught campers about architecture, advertising in drawing, and model making. Shortly after his mentoring, he became a Committee Chair creating google surveys for market research relating to branding/marketing.
While maintaining his GPA as an architecture student, he managed to work as a publication coordinator where he communicates within the publishing office about the book design process. He also worked on layout designs, and copy editing where he reviews and revised submittal papers for the publication.
In mid-2019, he joined Hades Construction as a project estimator, and since his entry, he continuously exhibits his prowess in design and construction.
